Shamus and Makenna’s Reynolda Gardens session in Winston Salem was the engagement session of my dreams! We walked through the grounds and admired the newly renovated greenhouse and the impressive array of flowers. Despite the heat, the couple stayed upbeat and fun throughout our entire session together.
Shamus and Makenna started dating in 2018 in college. Tragically, Makenna’s father passed away the following year. When Shamus began to plan the engagement, the two of them went through the process of designing & resetting Makenna’s mom’s engagement ring. It was a sentimental process, but the team at Wingos Jewelry took great care of the original stones during the ring resetting process. Shamus proposed in June at their favorite NC date spot, Medaloni Cellars, with their dog of 6 years, Luna.
