Madeline and Ryan’s Downtown Raleigh Engagement Session | Winston Salem Wedding Photographer
Madeline and Ryan’s engagement session began in the Raleigh Rose Garden in downtown Raleigh North Carolina. They brought their sweet dog, Luna, to be in a few of the photos at the gardens.
We then headed into the heart of Raleigh to snap some more casual pictures. These ended up being my favorite photos of the evening! We started at the science museum, and then made our way over to the capitol building for some cool architectural shots. Ryan and Madeline made the shoot so fun with their playful and carefree attitude. We were able to get creative with posing and make Madeline’s Pinterest board dreams come true!
While I took their photos, we got to chat about how they got engaged. They met on Bumble and dated for a little while before Ryan proposed at Madeline’s favorite place, the Arlie Gardens in Wilmington. She knew it was coming, and was thrilled when he finally popped the question!
Her ring’s main stone is a yellow sapphire from her mom’s ring, and the rest of it is custom designed. Madeline’s dad is a ring designer, so he was able to work with the two of them to create Madeline’s perfect ring, a blend of vintage and new. Family means a lot to both of them, so it made this ring all the more special that her parents could be a part of the process.
