Erik and Samantha’s spring wedding day at Summerfield Farms in Greensboro, North Carolina was rainy, romantic, and undeniably magical. The day felt intimate and intentional from the very beginning, setting the tone for a celebration that was as meaningful as it was beautiful. The couple shared a private first look outside the bungalow house on the Summerfield properties.
As the wedding ceremony time drew near, it began pouring. The two had wanted to get married under the oak tree no matter what, so they took myself (the photographer), the planner, and the officiant outside and they exchanged private vows. Once they said ‘I do’, we took them back to the barn, where they got married again, this time surrounded by all of their loved ones.
Once the knot was tied, we embraced the rain for portraits in the flower field, capturing romantic moments beneath the misty skies. From there, everyone headed back indoors to celebrate, dance, and party the night away. The day ended on a high note filled with love, connection, and unforgettable memories.
