Downtown Raleigh Elopement

Tony + Alma’s Elopement in Raleigh, North Carolina

Tony and Alma eloped in downtown Raleigh at the Wake County Courthouse. After being pronounced husband and wife, I met up with them at the North Carolina Museum of Art. I was able to be creative with some detail photos before starting their portraits. We walked around the outside grounds of the museum. Despite it being the middle of December, the weather was mild and the sun cast a golden glow on the newly married couple. We left the museum and headed downtown to the Raleigh Times, a restaurant and bar. After the couple enjoyed a drink at the bar, we headed back outside to see some Christmas lights. Downtown Raleigh was beautifully decorated this time of year. It was the most magical elopement day!
