Erik and Samantha got married on a rainy day in early May at Summerfield Farms in Greensboro North Carolina. They had a slow morning of getting ready with a few close friends and family. Together they shared a private first look outside of the Bungalow on the Summerfield properties. About an hour before the ceremony it began to pour down rain. The couple and planners made the decision to move the wedding indoors, however the bride was still determined to get married under the classic oak tree. So about 15 minutes before the ceremony, the bride and groom went outside with the officiant and exchanged vows in the rain under the oak tree. After being officially pronounced husband and wife, they went back inside the barn and did it all over again in front of all of their loved ones. Once the 'I do's' were finished, they got a few more portraits in the rain, then went to mingle during cocktail hour. After dinner was served, Erik and Samantha danced the night away. They are truly each others best friends, and had the most romantic day to celebrate their marriage.
